1938 Mercedes-Benz 170V

• white and blue paint is faded and patchy with heavy orange rust on both front fenders, the rear quarters and around the spare wheel, so full metal work and a repaint are unavoidable
• bumpers and grille chrome are rust-pitted and dull, so re-chroming or replacement money is due
• the top is a collapsed, dirty bundle of canvas and frame in every rear photo, so a complete new top is a certain cost
• the blue bench seat is dusty and faded but not visibly split, so it might clean up and save a retrim on this one item
• dash wood is sun-bleached and worn with loose wires hanging under it, so the cabin needs restoration work, not just a clean
• footwells are filthy with debris and a loose wooden panel on the passenger side, so floor condition has to be checked in person before valuing the car
• the engine bay is rusty and grimy with perished wiring throughout, so budget for a full recommission or rebuild
• no underside photo is shown in the sampled photos, so the chassis and floors can't be judged from the photos

Money: at $67,500 this is the same money as the other rusty 170V project in this price band, and the photos show every major system needing restoration, so the ask leaves nothing for the work.
