About this car
1960 190SL at Gullwing Motor Cars in Astoria, NY. The dealer's own page marks this car sold — it stays listed under the SOLD banner for reference and is left out of the price averages. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- dark paint is dull and tired looking, a full repaint is the obvious spend
- big rust patches show on both rear wings and around the boot, that is proper metal work not a touch-up
- chrome bumpers look aged but complete, budget a polish or rechrome on top of the body bill
- beige soft top is up and complete but stained and tired, expect to replace it
- black seats look worn and creased in the one cabin photo, a retrim is likely
- dash and wheel look complete in that same photo, no need to hunt missing trim there
- can't judge the engine bay or the underside, neither is shown and the visible rust makes that a real risk
Money: no sold price is on file, so judge it as a restoration project from the visible rust and dull paint, not as a driver.
