1966 Mercedes-Benz 230SL

• cream paint looks glossy and straight in the studio photos, no paint bill showing on what is shown
• chrome bumpers and hubcaps shine clean, no re-chroming bill showing
• tan door cards look fresh and unmarked, no door-card bill showing
• dash, wood trim and period radio look clean and complete, no dash bill showing
• brown soft top looks clean and taut up, and the dark green hardtop shown on the car also looks clean, so no top bill — but the green top over a cream body is a look you either like or budget to repaint
• the underside photo shows a dusty, grimy floor and rusty-brown exhaust pipes rather than rot, so budget a deep clean and a closer rust check, not an exhaust-and-floor rebuild on what is visible
• the engine is only seen from a distance with the hood up, so I can't judge the engine bay up close — budget an inspection before paying finished-car money
• can't judge the seats up close — they are only visible at a distance in the sampled photos, so I can't judge cracks or wear

Money: at $89,394 the topside looks finished and shiny, and the money risk is the dirty underside and the unseen engine bay and seats — verify those before the price is earned.
