What the photos show
- Metallic blue paint looks glossy and reflective all around with no dents or rust visible, no repaint needed on what is shown.
- Chrome grille, bumpers and trim look bright and straight, no chrome bill visible.
- Tan leather seats front and rear look supple and clean with only light creasing, no need to reupholster.
- Dash and door trim look tidy in the interior shots and the carpets look clean, no interior trim spend visible.
- Trunk looks clean and dry with a tidy mat, no trunk carpet spend needed.
- One underside shot shows surface rust and ageing on the floor and exhaust area, budget an underside inspection and rust treatment.
- Steel wheels with chrome hubcaps look clean and tires look presentable, no immediate wheel spend visible.
- Engine bay is not shown in the sampled photos, so I can't judge it.
Money: At $16,200 the glossy blue paint and excellent tan leather make this 450SEL look well priced, with the underside surface rust the main check before paying full ask.
