1962 Mercedes-Benz 190SL

• the red paint is glossy and even across the panels, so no repaint bill shows in these photos
• the chrome bumpers and grille shine with no pitting visible, so no re-chrome bill shows here
• the tan seats show only light creasing on the driver's cushion, so no reupholster bill is needed yet
• the red dash and gauges look clean and complete, so no dash restoration bill shows here
• the tan soft top fits taut but its rear window looks hazy, so budget for a window or top refresh before paying top money
• the engine bay is tidy with the original-style air cleaner in place, so no obvious engine-bay detailing bill shows here
• the trunk is clean in black with a spare fitted, so no trunk retrim bill shows here
• the last three sampled photos are dealer showroom and service-area shots, not this car, so they add no condition value for your money
• can't judge the underside — it is not shown in the sampled photos, so do not pay for rust-free claims you cannot see

Money: at $78,750 the visible paint, chrome and interior support a driver-plus price, but the hazy top window and the unseen underside mean money should stay in reserve until both are checked.
