1961 Mercedes-Benz 190SL

• the white paint looks clean and even outdoors, so no full repaint bill shows in these photos
• the chrome bumpers and headlight rims shine brightly, so no re-chrome bill shows here
• the red seats are heavily crazed and creased, especially the driver's, so budget for leather restoration or retrim money
• the white and red dash looks clean with clear gauges, so no dash bill shows here
• the black soft top fits well and its rear window is clear, so no top replacement bill shows here
• the engine bay is tidy with twin carburettors visible, so no obvious bay detailing bill shows here
• the underside of the trunk lid shows chipped paint and rust spots along its edge, so budget for that repair before it spreads
• the one underside shot shows a clean black front suspension with light surface rust on the exhaust and brake parts, so no major underside bill shows in that view, but most of the floor is unseen

Money: at $77,500 the paint, chrome and top look money-safe, but the crazed red leather and the chipped, rust-spotted trunk-lid edge are real spend to price in.
