About this car
Hemmings listing in Torrance, CA. 190SL roadster in white over red leather; dual Weber carbs; 4-speed manual; new black soft top.
What the photos show
- Ivory paint has a deep gloss and the body looks straight in indoor and outdoor shots, no paintwork needed.
- Chrome bumpers and grille are bright with clean reflections, no replating bill.
- Red leather seats look plump and fresh with no cracks showing, no retrim money needed.
- Dash, gauges showing 65,418 miles and the Becker radio all present crisp and clean, nothing to restore inside.
- One close-up shows aged, chipped paint at the dash corner by the windshield post, a small touch-up, not a repaint.
- The black soft top fits taut with a clean rear window, no top replacement to budget.
- Engine bay is clean with the twin Solex carburetors in place, the detailing is already done.
- No underside photos, so I can't judge the floors from this gallery.
Money: at $115,500 this is the cheapest 190SL in the group and it photographs like a finished car; the missing underside view is the one check standing between a buyer and this price.
