About this car
1978 450SL at TNT Classic Cars in Valparaiso, IN. The dealer publishes no price for this car, so the number has to come from a call. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- the only photo shows a white 450SL hardtop sitting in snow, and a big red SOLD is stamped across the picture — the car reads as already gone, so your money may be chasing a sold car
- paint and chrome look fair in the small shot but the image is too small to judge closely, so keep a detailing allowance either way
- the seats and interior can't be judged, nothing inside is shown
- the dash can't be judged, it is never shown
- the engine bay can't be judged, it is never shown
- the soft top can't be judged, only the hardtop is fitted, so the canvas is unknown
- the underside can't be judged, it is never shown, so rust stays unknown
Money: no price is listed, the listing sits in the for-sale queue, yet its only photo is stamped SOLD — confirm the car even exists for sale before discussing money.
