About this car
1988 560SEC at Motorcar Classics in Farmingdale, NY. 25,442 original miles, single family since new, accident-free CARFAX per dealer. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- Black paint is deep and glossy with straight panels, no repaint needed.
- The car wears a body kit, rear spoiler, silver lower cladding and black mesh wheels in the photos, so you are paying for that period-modified look, not a stock SEC.
- Grey leather seats front and rear look excellent with no tears, no need to reupholster.
- Dash and wood look mostly glossy, no interior restoration spend.
- Console wood and the carpets on the door bottoms are dusty and greyed in the close-ups, so budget a deep detail.
- The trunk wall is filled with Alpine amps and a crossover, so trunk space and originality are already spent on period audio.
- Can't judge the engine bay from these photos, so budget a mechanical inspection before paying up.
- Can't judge the underside from these photos, so the rust question stays open until it is on a lift.
Money: at $49,900 the paint and leather carry the price, but the modified body and trunk-filling audio narrow who will pay it back later.
