About this car
1969 280SL at Hyman Ltd in St. Louis, MO. Tunis Beige over brown leather, repainted in correct original color (462G), desirable 4-speed manual gearbox. What the photos show
- Gold paint looks glossy and even from every angle, with European headlights and extra driving lamps fitted, so no paint bill shows
- Brown leather seats look almost new with no wear or creasing, no reupholstery bill needed
- Dash, wood console and brown door cards look clean and unmarked, so no interior trim bill shows
- Brown soft top looks taut and clean and the matching hardtop is also shown fitted, so no top bill shows
- Chrome bumpers and exhaust tips look bright in close-up, no re-chroming cost visible
- Can't judge the engine bay, it does not appear in the sampled photos, so its state can't be credited here
- Can't judge the underside, it does not appear in the sampled photos, so hidden rust stays unproven
Money: No sold price is on file, but the near-new brown interior, glossy gold paint and both tops in clean order visible here support a strong Pagoda result, engine and underside aside.
