About this car
1971 280SL at Gullwing Motor Cars in Astoria, NY. The dealer's own page marks this car sold — it stays listed under the SOLD banner for reference and is left out of the price averages. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- beige paint looks clean and even from every angle, no paintwork obvious
- black soft top is up, tight and clean with a clear-looking rear window, no top bill visible
- chrome bumpers and hubcaps shine well, lights are clear, no replating cost
- tan interior only glimpsed through the glass looks tidy, no retrim visible from outside
- can't judge the seats and dash up close, no interior photo is included, so trim condition stays open
- can't judge the engine bay, it is not shown, so mechanicals are unverified
- can't judge the underside, it is not shown, and Pagoda sills and floors are where the money hides, so that stays the big open question
Money: no sold price is on file, so value rests on the exterior only — it presents as a clean, honest Pagoda, but with no interior, engine or underside photos the photos alone only support mid-range money.
