About this car
1970 280SL at Gullwing Motor Cars in Astoria, NY. The dealer's own page marks this car sold — it stays listed under the SOLD banner for reference and is left out of the price averages. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- deep red paint looks glossy and even all round, no repaint bill showing here
- chrome bumpers and grille look bright, no rechrome needed on what is shown
- matching red hardtop is fitted and looks clean, that saves buying and painting one
- all six photos are outside views, the gallery is thin for a car at this level
- can't judge the seats or interior, they are only glimpsed through glass so budget as unknown
- can't judge the dash, engine bay, soft top or underside, none of them are shown
Money: no sold price is on file, so value rests on the glossy paint, chrome and hardtop in these photos, with everything mechanical and inside unproven.
