About this car
1980 300SD at David's Classic Cars in Marion, IL. The dealer publishes no price for this car, so the number has to come from a call. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- only one photo is big enough to view, a head-on front view of a white sedan, so you are judging the whole car from its grille and that is not enough to buy on
- white paint on the hood and front fenders looks even, with no obvious damage, so no front-end repair shows
- chrome grille and front bumper look bright and straight, so no rechrome cost shows at the front
- one headlight lens looks duller than the other, so budget for a lens clean or replacement
- the rest of the gallery is tiny thumbnails of other sedans, so it adds no evidence for this car
- can't judge the sides, rear, seats, interior or dash, none are shown, so most of the car is unseen and retrim money is still possible
- can't judge the engine bay, top or underside, none are shown, so mechanical and rust money are unproven
Money: no asking price is listed, and one front photo leaves almost everything unproven, so insist on a full photo set and an in-person look before any offer.
