What the photos show
- black paint looks deep and glossy down the full side profile, and black shows flaws easily, so no paint bill visible from here is a good sign
- side trim looks complete and straight in profile, no trim hunt money showing
- flat-face wheels look bright and clean, no wheel refurb spend visible
- cream seats are visible with the top down and look light and intact from here, but too far to rule out upholstery cost
- can't judge the dash, no interior close-up is shown, so dash repair cost is unknown
- can't judge the soft top, it is down and not shown raised, so top replacement cost is unknown
- can't judge the engine bay, no under-hood photo is shown, so engine work cost is unknown
- can't judge the underside, no lift photo is shown, so rust repair cost is unknown
Money: at $24,900 sold, the glossy black finish supports the price for a sharp-looking final-year 560SL, but one side photo cannot prove the interior, engine or underside the money also paid for.
