1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

• red paint looks bright, glossy and even down the side in this profile shot, no obvious fading, dents or rust showing, so no paint bill visible from here
• chrome side trim and window frame look straight, and the black rubber bumper ends look intact, so no trim replacement cost evident in this view
• tan seats are partly visible with the top down and look smooth on the visible tops, but bolsters and bases are not shown, so full reupholstery need cannot be judged
• flat-face alloy wheels look clean in this shot, no wheel refurb cost showing
• can't judge the dash - it is not shown close up in the only photo, so crack or repair cost is unknown
• can't judge the engine bay - it is not shown at all, so any engine work cost is unknown
• can't judge the underside - it is not shown at all, so rust or floor repair cost is unknown
• can't judge the convertible top - it is folded down and the fabric is not shown, so a new top cost cannot be ruled out

Money: At $24,000 sold, the bright red paint and tidy side profile in the single photo support the price on looks, but no interior, engine or underside view backs up the rest of the car.
