What the photos show
- gold-beige paint looks even and the side panels look straight in this single outdoor side view, no repaint obvious from here
- the soft top is down, so you cannot judge the top fabric or rear window and a new top would cost real money
- tan interior is only seen in profile over the door, so you cannot judge the seats properly
- front end and chrome are barely in frame, so you cannot judge the grille or bumpers properly
- dash is not shown close up, so you cannot judge the wood or dash cracks
- engine bay is not shown, so you cannot judge the engine at all
- underside is not shown, so you cannot judge rust or leaks
Money: at the $26,200 sold price the one outdoor photo shows a straight-looking gold 560SL in profile, but the top, seat wear, engine and underside were all unseen, so the price rested on trust.
