1978 Mercedes-Benz 450SL

• light blue paint looks glossy and even across the hood and side in this front three-quarter shot, no obvious dents or rust showing, so no paint bill visible from here
• chrome grille, headlight trim and side mouldings look bright and straight, no replating cost evident in this view
• dark interior is only glimpsed through the open top and the seat tops look tidy, but close wear cannot be judged, so reupholstery cost stays open
• alloy wheels look clean in this shot, no wheel refurb cost showing
• can't judge the dash - it is not shown close up, so crack or repair cost is unknown
• can't judge the engine bay - it is not shown at all, so any engine work cost is unknown
• can't judge the underside - it is not shown at all, so rust or floor repair cost is unknown
• can't judge the convertible top - it is folded down and the fabric is not shown, so a new top cost cannot be ruled out

Money: At $23,700 sold, the glossy light blue paint and bright chrome in the single photo support the price on exterior looks, but no detailed interior, engine or underside view was provided.
