1973 Mercedes-Benz 450SL

• Pale yellow paint looks glossy and even all round with both tops shown, no repaint needed.
• Chrome bumpers and grille look bright and straight, no rechrome bill showing.
• Black soft top is shown raised and looks taut and clean, no new top needed on what is visible.
• Black seats look almost new with no cracks or sagging, no need to reupholster.
• Dash dials look clear and the dash top looks uncracked in the samples, no dash bill showing.
• Engine bay looks clean and orderly with black air cleaner and tidy hoses, no detailing bill needed.
• Can't judge the underside — no underside photos in the sampled set, so budget an inspection before valuing it.

Money: At $3,000 sold, the price in the data does not support this condition at all — the glossy paint, like-new seats and clean engine bay are worth many times that, so treat $3,000 as a placeholder, not a real sale price.
