What the photos show
- red paint looks deep and glossy in this one showroom shot, no obvious damage or repaint edge to pay for
- cream seats and headrests look clean and intact from a distance, promising but no close view to skip an upholstery bill for sure
- top is down so you cannot judge the convertible top at all, keep that cost open
- body-color hubcaps and chrome bumpers look tidy, no obvious curb or plating work needed here
- cannot judge the dash in detail, engine bay or underside from a single photo, so the expensive hidden areas stay unknown
Money: at $29,900 sold, the lone photo shows an attractive red early SL, but it leaves the top, engine and underside completely unproven.
