About this car
Hemmings listing in Fort Lauderdale, FL. 250C 2.8 (M130), white over red MB-Tex/leather; Behr A/C, power steering/windows, Becker Europa radio.
What the photos show
- Cream paint is glossy and straight with clean panel fit, no paint work needed
- Chrome grille, bumpers and wheel-arch trim shine bright, no re-chrome spend needed
- Red rear seat and red door cards look fresh with no tears, no rear interior spend needed
- Front seats are covered in sheepskin covers in every photo, can't judge the front seat leather underneath, so ask for photos with the covers off before paying
- Dash and heater controls look clean and complete, and the odometer reads 90,892, no dash spend showing
- Headliner and sun visors are clean and tight, no headliner bill coming
- Engine close-up shows a dusty valve cover and aged hoses, budget a detail and a hose check, not a rebuild
- Hood insulation pad is missing with bare paint under the hood, budget a new pad if you want it correct
- Color-matched hubcaps and Michelin tires look fresh, no tire spend right away
- No underside photo is shown in the sampled photos, can't judge underside rust
- No trunk photo is shown in the sampled photos, can't judge the trunk floor
Money: At $27,999 the paint, chrome and red interior support the price, but do not pay in full until the sheepskin covers come off and the front seats and underside are seen.
