What the photos show
- silver paint looks glossy and straight, top down and top up, so no repaint bill shows in these photos
- grey leather seats look clean and intact with light creasing only, so no reupholster bill yet
- the black soft top looks taut and its rear window is clear, so no top replacement bill shows
- the wood console has a small crack and scratch marks by the shifter, so minor wood repair money may be coming
- a period car phone sits on the console — removing it cleanly is a small job to plan for
- the trunk carpet looks clean and the spare wheel sits in a tidy well, so no trunk money is needed
- the engine bay looks tidy, though the coolant and washer bottles are yellowed, so only detail money shows
- chrome wheels look bright, so no wheel refurb bill yet
- can't judge the underside — no underside photo in the sampled set, so a lift inspection is money well spent
Money: at $38,750 the photos show a tidy, usable 560SL — the small console crack and the unseen underside are the only money questions.
