About this car
Hemmings listing in Astoria, NY. Offered on Hemmings in Astoria, NY.
What the photos show
- White paint looks clean, straight and glossy from every angle in this small gallery, so no paint money shows.
- Chrome and black bumpers look straight and undamaged, so no bumper spend shows.
- Dark blue soft top looks clean and taut with a clear rear window, so no top replacement cost shows.
- Matching white hardtop is shown fitted and looks clean, so that is included value, not spend.
- Blue leather seats look good with only light creasing, so no reupholstery cost here.
- Blue carpets and door sills look grubby and the cabin needs a deep clean, so budget a full detail before judging the interior harshly.
- Dash and console wood look tidy in the one interior photo, so no dash restoration bill shows.
- Engine bay is dirty, with surface rust on ancillaries and torn hood insulation, so budget a service and engine bay detail.
- Flat-face alloy wheels look clean and the tires have tread, so no immediate wheel or tire spend shows.
- Only 9 photos in the whole gallery and none of the underside or trunk, so underside and trunk condition can't be judged.
Money: at $29,500 the visible car is a presentable both-tops 560SL whose only showing costs are cleaning and engine bay work — the thin 9-photo gallery, not the car, is the risk.
