1968 Mercedes-Benz 280SL

• the dark green paint is glossy and straight, with matching green hubcaps, no cosmetic spend needed outside
• the black soft top looks new, taut, with a clear rear window, no top bill coming
• the matching hardtop is shown fitted and clean, two good tops mean no second-top hunt
• the black door card and dash with wood trim look crisp, and the odometer shot reads 31,722, so the cabin presents low-wear
• the trunk floor is painted clean black with no visible rust staining, no trunk metalwork on sight
• the engine bay is complete and orderly, though the hood retaining strap is frayed, a small part to replace cheaply
• the seats themselves are barely shown in the sampled photos, so can't judge the seat leather up close before paying
• can't judge the underside — no lift shot in the sampled photos, so the floors still need a look before full money

Money: at $96,500 this green Pagoda (BHCC stock #18028, plate XAP 671) shows fresh top, both tops and a tidy bay, fair money if the unseen underside and seats match.
