1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

• Red paint is deep and glossy with straight panels and a matching hardtop fitted, no paint work needed
• Chrome grille and bumpers shine clean, no re-chrome spend needed
• Tan door card looks fresh and tight, no door trim spend needed
• Odometer reads 51,727 miles, low for the year, which supports the price if the history backs it
• Engine bay is complete and honest with a dusty air cleaner and yellowed coolant tank, budget a detail, not repairs
• Flat-face alloy wheels are clean and the Pirelli tires show good tread, no tire spend right away
• Underside on the lift is dry and solid with dusty floors and no rust holes showing, no underside repair bill expected
• One frame rail shows scraped undercoat with light surface color, budget a touch-up of undercoat there
• The soft top itself is never raised in the sampled photos, can't judge the soft top fabric or window
• No close-up of the seats is in the sampled photos, can't judge seat wear beyond the clean door trim

Money: At $27,000 the glossy red paint, 51,727 miles and dry underside support the ask, with just an engine detail and undercoat touch-up as small spends.
