About this car
Hemmings listing in Sarasota, FL. Offered on Hemmings in Sarasota, FL.
What the photos show
- Cream paint looks glossy and straight in close-up panel shots, with the 280SL badge matching the title, so no paint bill is obvious
- Chrome looks bright at the front, but rear bumper close-ups show light pitting and scuffs, so budget a polish or replating if you want it perfect
- Tan seats look clean and smooth, no reupholster bill is obvious, though several interior shots are near-duplicates
- Dash looks tidy and complete in the interior views, saving a dash restoration
- Can't judge the soft top — the car is only shown top-down, so a top cost is unknown
- Can't judge the engine bay or underside — neither is shown in any photo, so those checks still need an inspection
Money: With no price listed, the clean cream paint and tan interior help, but hold back for the unseen engine, underside and soft top, plus the marked rear chrome.
