What the photos show
- Light blue-grey paint is glossy and straight from every angle, no repaint needed.
- Chrome and trim shine bright, no re-chroming bill hiding here.
- The matching hardtop is shown on a stand beside the car, no hardtop to hunt down and paint.
- Black dash looks uncracked with glossy wood, no dash or wood restoration spend.
- Black seats are only partly shown but look intact with no tears, no reupholstery bill visible so far.
- Footwell carpet at the pedals is dirty and greyed, so budget a proper interior detail.
- The trunk is clean in black carpet, no trunk restoration spend.
- Can't judge the engine bay from these photos - only stickers and the VIN stamp are shown close up - so budget a mechanical inspection.
- Can't judge the soft top or the underside from these photos, so both stay open questions at this price.
Money: at $49,900 the paint, chrome and cabin look like money already spent, but with no engine, soft-top or underside view the price needs an inspection to back it up.
