1960 Mercedes-Benz 220SE

• Two-tone black and silver paint looks dull, dusty and flat, so budget a full repaint to make it presentable.
• Chrome bumpers and grille look dull and aged, so budget rechroming or polishing work.
• Some wheels wear hubcaps and some are plain black steel, and the tires look old, so budget wheels, caps and a fresh tire set.
• Red front seats look surprisingly intact, so a clean may save a retrim there.
• There is no carpet in the cabin shots and the floors are bare painted metal, so budget a full carpet set.
• The right door panel looks dark and stripped in the dash shot, so budget door trim work.
• Engine bay looks dusty and corroded with loose wiring, so budget a full mechanical recommission, not just a tune-up.
• No underside is shown in the sampled photos, so I can't judge floor rust — that is the big unknown on a project like this.

Money: At $24,500 this is a project coupe needing paint, carpet and engine work, so the ask only makes sense priced as a restoration core, not a driver.
