About this car
Hemmings listing in Woodson Terrace, MO. 350SL roadster, 96,074 original miles, three owners from new; European bumpers; Silver Grey over black leather.
What the photos show
- Silver paint is glossy and even all around with straight panels, no paint work needed
- Chrome bumpers, grille and hubcaps shine with no pitting showing, no chrome spend needed
- Black soft top fits tight, but the rear plastic windows look cloudy, budget for a window polish or a new top window
- Matching silver hardtop is shown fitted and looks clean, that adds value with no extra cost
- Black leather seats show light creasing but no tears or splits, no need to reupholster
- Door cards and dash look clean and uncracked with tidy carpets, no interior trim spend needed
- Trunk mat is stained and split at one edge, budget a replacement mat, a small cost
- Steel wheels with full covers and tires show good tread, no tire spend right away
- The sampled photos are mostly repeated exterior angles, and no engine bay photo is shown, can't judge the engine bay
- No underside photo is shown in the sampled photos, can't judge underside rust
Money: At $28,900 the paint, chrome and both tops support the ask, with only the cloudy top window and trunk mat as small spends, but price in an engine and underside inspection since neither is shown.
