1965 Mercedes-Benz 220S

• White paint is dull and peeling on the trunk lid, a repaint is the big money on this car
• The front fender top is worn through to surface rust, body prep money before any paint
• The car sits up on a jack at the rear in the photos, so budget for it not rolling as it stands
• Front door cards are missing with bare door shells showing, interior trim money is certain
• The driver's seat is torn open and the front seats are filthy, a full retrim belongs in the budget
• The rear bench looks intact under the dirt, cleaning may save it
• The dash pad is cracked around the gauges, dash repair money needed
• The cabin floors are bare and rusty-looking with the carpets out, so floor inspection comes before any cosmetic money
• The grille chrome looks bright and complete, one thing you may not have to buy
• Several gallery photos are Yahoo Mail screenshots, and the same rear-seat photo appears twice, so the 15 photos show less than they promise
• No underside photo is in the gallery, so I can't judge the underside — price the mechanicals as unknown

Money: at $4,250 this is a torn-apart Fintail project priced like one — paint, interior and floors all need money, so it only works as a long restoration.
