About this car
This 1985 300TD is offered on eBay by dynamic_motors in Largo, FL. The asking price is $6,995. The car is finished in Blue over Blue, power from a 3.0L Diesel I5 engine. The odometer shows 336,443 miles. On a W123, the vacuum system, glow plugs on the diesels, and rust in the jacking points and rear wheel arches are the usual places to look first.
What the photos show
- bright blue paint looks glossy all round, no repaint money needed on looks - it has the shine of a repaint, so check the finish in person before paying for it
- blue interior looks very tidy with seats front and back intact, no reupholstery money needed
- dash looks clean and uncracked in the sampled shots, no dash money needed
- most of the gallery is repeat exterior angles, so the photo set is padded with the same views
- can't judge the engine bay - no engine photo in the sampled set, so engine money is unknown
- can't judge the underside - no underside photo in the sampled set, so rust money is unknown
Money: at $6,995 the body and interior look strong, but with no engine or underside photos the mechanical money is unproven - fair only after an in-person look underneath.
