What the photos show
- black paint is deep and glossy with strong reflections, no respray needed on what shows
- chrome bumpers and grille are bright and straight, no re-chroming bill in sight
- car sits on chrome wire wheels with wide whitewalls, not stock, so originality money is already spent if you want factory steel wheels back
- black seats with tan piping look tight with no tears or sag, no need to reupholster
- headliner is clean, taut and unstained, no headliner job to pay for
- trunk is clean and dry-looking with spare and the original hubcaps stored inside, no trunk rust repair visible
- underside looks solid and original with surface grime and a small oil spot on the ground, budget a detail and a leak check not a floor job
- dash is not shown clearly in the sampled photos, can't judge dash cracks or wood without a closer look
- engine bay is not shown in the sampled photos, can't judge engine-bay cosmetics or leaks from these shots
Money: at $11,000 sold, the glossy paint, bright chrome and excellent seats support the price easily — the money was in the cosmetics already done, with only the unseen dash and engine bay left as risk.
